History

The original company was bought and sold by large mainframe and storage companies who sought to enter the Mid-Range market with an instant expertise level, as well as a good reputation.

As large companies reduced their emphasis on service and Customer Satisfaction, the BIS core group decided to form their own company – a company where Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction are again the focus of the organization.

Larger, sales-oriented companies were now focusing on product sales only – reducing part inventories, eliminating preventive maintenance procedures, reducing the number of service personnel, and replacing experienced technicians with lower cost entry-level people.

BIS was formed to do just the opposite. We wanted our focus on Customer Satisfaction, service our customers could trust, and friendly knowledgeable technicians who understood their customers' needs and responded quickly with parts in hand.
